Join KCmodern for a new series of films related to Modernism at the Glenwood Arts Theater for, Kevin Roche: The Quiet Architect. Kevin Roche might be the only architect who led Eero Saarinen’s Office, won a Pritzker Prize and an AIA Gold Medal that you have never heard of. After Saarinen’s passing in 1961, Kevin Roche and John Dinkeloo took over the firm. They finished the designs for Saarinen’s major projects like St. Louis Arch, Bell Labs and CBS HQ. Opened in 1966 the new firm went on to complete projects like the Ford Foundation, Oakland Museum and Metropolitan Museum of Art Additions. All tickets $10.
